Term 2 Week 4 reflections

1) Paying attention to big things that happen is easy. What are some of the small things you are missing out?
We do not pay much attention to small details,and sometimes these details are important. For example, if we were to have an English lesson, we would pay attention to what we are suppose to learn,but not the pointers,as we won`t really spent much of our attention with that.
2) How does technology distract you from paying attention?
Well,if the teacher was teaching our lesson,and we were using our macbooks at the same time, we would be glued to our mac and not pay attention to the teacher.
3) Spend some time in silence and pay attention to your inner life. What is bubbling to the surface?
How am i going to use my time usefully without wasting my time

Term 1 week 8 chracter education

1. Some people are good at starting things, others at finishing things. Which one are you? Why?
I would say that i am good at starting things as i know how to start some things so tha others can follow and help out.
2. What kinds of things do you need to do each day in order to feel like your day is a success?
I would revise my work,do my homework,and try to do something special

CE reflection

1.A person of good character is inspirational and wants to help people be better in their character.
2.One should be kind,patient,resilient,honest and helpful.
3.Other people would say that I am helpful.
4.I would like to be helpful and help my friends if they are in need.

communication

1.Communication is useful to us as it helps us to interact with one another.
2.My favorite forms of communication are through SMS and the internet because they are easy and very fast.
3.I decide of the forms of communication to use depending on the situation.If i need to tell my friends something in a hurry,i would SMS them,if not i would email them.
4.The only difficulties i have are when i do not speak the language of the other person i am talking to.

My Reflections

The 3 main points I've learnt from the activities are:
1. I should learn to overcome all obstacles i face
2. Do not give up
3. Never underestimate any thing

These pointers can help me as it will help me progess more in my studies. If i could try all the activities, I would do the CRC as it is both fun and challenging. If i could change one thing about myself, I would try to be more courageous.

The Amazing Race

Today we did the amazing race. I have learnt today more about the school value : `Expanding Our Learning Networks`. I now know that SST wants us to learn by not through books and Internet, but also by learning through daily experiences. It is important as we can learn from these and help us with future projects that is related with the Clementi community.

Team building challenge

What I can understand from the school value -`forging excellence` is that SST wants us to put in 100% in everything we do to achieve excellent results. The strengths that I think I possess is that I am a fast learner and can co-operate well with other people. I must also learn to listen more and pay more attention to my friends. I should also help my friends whenever they are in need of help.

Bridge Building - Personal Reflections

Today I worked in my group to build a bridge. It felt fun as it allowed me to make friends with my teammates and learn more about them. I have interacted with my teammates pretty well, I give my ideas and listen to what they wanted to say. I have learnt that I should listen more to what my friends have to say, so in future when we do team projects, we can finish it faster and have it done with good quality.
